How One Piece Can Make A Whole Halloween Look

Let’s be real, while we all love the thought of dressing up for Halloween, most of us don’t have the time or budget to actually create a full on costume.

Even worse is the last minute party invite, leaving us scrounging our wardrobes for any item of fancy dress we can get our hands on.

However, with just one piece, no matter how seemingly un-spooky,Ā  there are a million Halloween outfit possibilities. All you need is a little creativity (and also a mates wardrobe to raid).

We decided to see if we too could rise to the occasion, and by using one fab red sequin top from the Wild Side Boutique, we got not just one, but two terrifyingly terrific ensembles. If we can do it, you definitelyĀ can!

Better the Devil You Know: It might be the oldest trick in the Halloween look-book, but a red devil will never not be effective. Accessorize with a pitchfork to really give ’em the heebie-jeebies.

Disco Fever: If retro style is more your thing, throw it back to the Club 54 nights with this easy dancing queen look. All you need is sequins and flares.

So dig out those sequin trousers and glitter and be a mermaid, or shove on that white shirt, LBD, braid your hair and you have instant Wednesday Adams.

Have fun, and if worst comes to worst and you have zero ideas, just put on your favorite party dress, cover yourself in glitter and boom! Fairy. It’s as easy as that.
