Pale Waves – “The Tide” single review

Pale Waves are back with another feel-good, dance record.

The Mancunian four piece have returned with yet another dreamy, 80s inspired track, “The Tide”, taken from their forthcoming EP,  “All The Things I Never Said” which is due for release on March 16th, 2018.

It is a teenage lust record about falling in love and romanticising. “I’ll be the sea honey/ And you’ll be the tide”.

With almost glam-rock element to it concerning the lyrics, you would think this song is from three decades ago if you didn’t have any knowledge of Pale Waves.

“The Tide” comes shortly after the band were named as the  #5 artist on the prestigious BBC Sound Of 2018 Shortlist.

The band’s UK and European headline tour is now underway, including a show at The Garage in London which sold out in minutes, and the band will also be heading out on a North American tour in March and April.

You will assuredly be hearing more from Pale Waves throughout the rest of the year.
