Review: DMA’s “In the Air” single

The Sydney-based, alternative rock trio, DMA’S dropped their second single, ‘In The Air’, and the boys have delivered once again.

The trio have taken a step away from their more guitar-based and lively singles, as this track takes the stripped back sound route, proving it certainly will raise lighters when played live.

‘In The Air’, a wistful ballad, was originally written on piano a few years ago and Tommy O’Dell’s soft yet powerful vocals create a chilled-out, melodic vibe to the track.

DMA’S latest releases prove they are not ‘just another rock band’, but are musicians capable of creating and producing different sounds and impressions.

Johnny Took, guitarist, claims that there will be ‘more synth stuff going on’ in their second upcoming album, ‘For Now’ which is released April, 27.

DMA’S have recently released their upcoming UK tour for 2018, so you can experience the tracksuit-wearing trio play their guitar-based bangers and their all-new chilled-out new track for yourself.
