Nottingham Trent and the University of Nottingham go head to head once again in the men’s Rugby Union varsity at the Lady Bay Sports Ground this evening.
The Trent team will take on their rivals from across the City at 5:45 this evening in front of a bumper crowd at the home of Nottingham Rugby Club with a crowd of over 3,000 expected at The Bay.
NTU have dominated this fixture over the past half-decade, going unbeaten in the last four varsity meetings between the two sides. Last year’s match was particularly memorable for Trent as they surged to a crushing 55-26 victory over their biggest rivals.
