Little Mix recently celebrated their ten year anniversary and have continued to make history throughout the last decade…
Four teenage girls originally made their mark when they became the first-ever group to win the X Factor back in 2011.
Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson took the music industry by storm as they began releasing hit after hit, such as ‘Wings’, ‘Salute’, and ‘Black Magic’, with their first three albums catapulting their popularity.
In 2017 the girls won their first Brit award for their single ‘Shout Out to My Ex’, again in 2019 winning Best British video for their ‘Woman Like Me’ music video.
Most recently, their domination of the ceremony continued by winning Best British Group in 2021, becoming the first-ever girl group to win the award!
Along with numerous other awards they have been nominated for or won, Little Mix have also gained five number one singles in the UK alone.
From their debut single ‘Cannonball’ after their X Factor win to Wings, Black Magic, Shout Out to My Ex and ‘Sweet Melody’,Ā Little Mix have dominated the charts since the beginning of their career.
Not to mention five arena tours that sold out almost every single time, where the girls performed high-intensity dance routines while showing off their incredible live vocal abilities.
With six albums and multiple singles on top of that, Little Mix’s success is overwhelming, to say the least.
They have also branched out from their musical talents and produced a TV show ‘Little Mix: The Search’, in addition to designing the LMX beauty range and developing their own line of perfumes.
To celebrate their 10 year anniversary, Little Mix revealed the release of their latest album ‘Between Us’ dropping on 12th November. The album is said to be: “A celebration of 10 years of hits, friendship, new tracks and so much more…”
‘Between Us’ will be the first album since Jesy Nelson’s departure from the group in December 2020. The album includes 18 of Little Mix’s classic singles from the last decade, as well as featuring five new tracks to mark the band’s milestone.

As a self-confessed Little Mix super fan myself, the girls have grown up with me from being a little nine-year-old singing their songs in my bedroom to today, 19 years young and still singing my heart out to every Little Mix song!
Here’s to the next 10 years of Little Mix, as they continue on as a trio and venture into the world of motherhood!
