Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club are back in action as they welcome Essex to Trent Bridge in round seven of the 2023 County Championship.
Currently sitting fourth in the County Championship Division One standings, Notts enjoyed a big breakthrough in their season in the previous round of action, wrapping up victory in just three days down at Northamptonshire.
With Essex posing a huge threat with eye-catching performances of their own this season, this meeting could go some way to deciding whether either county can have a say in the title race this season.
