The countdown to Black Friday is officially on. With just over a week to go before our favourite retailers slash their prices and everyone goes into a shopping frenzy, it’s the best time to keep your eyes peeled for the best deals and exclusive offers.
Black Friday is the perfect time to nab those items that youāve had your eyes on for weeks, need to restock your makeup bag or grab some great Christmas present bargains. Retailers have already begun their reductions leading up to the main event that will last the entire weekend, ending nicely on Cyber Monday.
But you will have to act quick because the best things will sell out in the blink of an eye and to make the most of it you need to do your homework. Most fashion and beauty retailers will have a Black Friday mailing list so you can subscribe and keep up to date on the sale launches and offers.
We recommend doing anything you can to stay ahead of the game. To save you time this year Iāve put the hard work in for you, and scouted out the best fashion and beauty deals. I wish you the best of luck!
Asos
Home to more than 850 brands, Asos is the go-to place for Black Friday deals. The online retailer has told customers to expect massive discounts this year across the website so it is the perfect time to get everything you have in your wishlist. With beauty, fashion and gift bargains all up for grabs, it is a great place to start your Black Friday purchases.
Of course, the deals are yet to be confirmed, but I am expecting a lot of traffic to the site next Friday.
Other Fast Fashion brands
Fast fashion brands such as Missguided, Boohoo and Boohooman, and Urban Outfitters. All of these retailers and more will have huge discounts throughout the Black Friday weekend and into Cyber Monday.
Last year, a lot of brands like these started their sales ahead of Black Friday, with female fashion giants Nasty Gal and PrettyLittleThing offering 50 percent off before Black Friday even arrived. This is certainly impressive, so I am expecting big things this year.
Urban Outfitters will have offers on everything from clothing to homeware, expect for big brands such as Nike and Fila which were excluded last year.
Zara hasnāt really participated in Black Friday previously, but over the last few years, it has offered 20 percent off certain items. How much they will offer this year is yet to be revealed so I will be keeping my eye out.
Beauty Bay
Calling all beauty and skincare lovers, Beauty Bay on Black Friday is the place for you!
Last year, Beauty Bay had up to 30 percent discounts across massive beauty, skincare, and haircare brands, so this year I expect nothing less. This includes brands such as Anastasia Beverly Hills and The Ordinary, just to name a couple, so get ready to indulge whether you are stocking up on your favourite bits or using this opportunity to experiment with some new goodies.
Office and Schuh
Footwear is expensive at the best of times, so Black Friday is the perfect day to spend a little less on some new creps.
Competitive retailers including Office and Schuh will have huge discounts across all brands both online and in-store. Last year Office offered customers 20 percent off everything and Schuh offering up to 50 percent off, including brands such as Nike, Adidas, and Dr. Martens.
Brands such as Nike and Adidas will also have their own online Black Friday sales, so if one place no longer has your size, it wonāt harm to shop around.
