Second wave of artists announced for Beat The Streets festival 2023

Nottingham’s day festival has added more artists to the line-up as the 2023 festival is fast approaching.

The event showcases talented singers from across the East Midlands and has raised over £320,000 for Framework Housing Association who work to reduce homelessness and improve people’s quality of life, empowering their independence.

The event will host artists across some of the cities best music venues like Rock City, Rescue Rooms and Bodega on Sunday, January 29.

The festival has over 50 artists performing on the day.

Divorce is a four piece band from Nottingham with members coming from past bands Do Nothing and Megatrain.

The breakout band create folk rock music with elements of grunge with heavy guitars alongside mellow vocals in singles like Services, sure to impress the crowd at the festival.

Jerub will be performing in his hometown showcasing his music’s rich blend of gospel, indie and pop.

Songs like Paint Me in Gold and Hold On express the talent of this upcoming singer with powerful, heart-felt vocals.

He has been met with fast growing success with support from BBC Introducing East Midlands.

Lacey joined the bill with catchy alt pop songs with impressive guitar work throughout their singles.

The band have supported Beat The Streets over the years and will bring the energy with tunes like Answers and Run Away, their refreshing rock sound is perfect for music lovers.

Unknown Era have been added to the lineup having worked the festival back in 2018 when it first launched.

The fast paced nature of their music will get everyone on their feet.

The group create a melting pot of soul, reggae, punk, ska,  rock music combining all styles to create a refreshing sound.

Songs like Meet Me (On The Dancefloor) and Read Between The Lines demonstrate the experimental nature of the band who incorporate a variety of influences into their laid back music.

Their songs are easy listens and will attract a huge audience so don’t miss out!

Other artists added to the line-up to watch out for include Stan Buckroyd, Celestines, Kingblonde, Tash Bird and many more.

All proceeds from tickets, bar work and merchandise go directly to help Framework charity.

Minimum ticket donations of £10 allow you to enjoy a day of non stop music celebrating local talent and all genres exploring different beloved music venues.
