Photo Gallery: Celebrating the first ever ‘Nottinghamshire Day’

Today (August 25) marks the first ever ‘Nottinghamshire Day’, a day in which the county’s residents and organisations are encouraged to celebrate the amazing area that we live in.

While the Nottinghamshire Flag will be raised at County Hall, waving over the city on the special day, this year’s celebrations will remain primarily virtual, with the County Council encouraging everyone to share their favourite things about the area by using the hashtag #NottsDay.

While we agree that Nottinghamshire is an overall brilliant place, we have to admit that Nottingham is still our favourite place to be in the county. That is regardless of the time of day or the season we are in, so here are some pictures from our writers and readers.
