NTU community raise over £340 for Clifton foodbank

Nottingham Trent University and other NTU Moves users have donated their NTU Move points to make a donation to Clifton’s NG11 foodbank.

Users of the NTU Moves app can generate points on their phones by linking the app to their fitness tracker or pedometer.

They are then able to redeem the points for a series of rewards, including NTU merchandise, hot drinks on campus and donations to Clifton’s foodbank.

NTU Moves set an original target donation of £300 before beating this and donating upwards of £340.

The foodbank helps those in crisis in the Nottingham NG11 Clifton area and is supported by the Trussell Trust – a nationwide network of foodbanks combating hunger and poverty.
