Amber Mic announce event supporting Nottingham’s local singers

Australian based promoter and booking agency, Amber Mic, are hosting shows to discover music venues and talented singers to see what the UK has to offer.

They have had performances from singers in the Australian independent music industry as they were beginning their journey who have since gone on to musical careers.

Amber Mic are coming to The Chapel at The Angel Microbrewery in Nottingham on Thursday, October 13 to showcase local talent.

Alice Lynn is a Nottingham based songwriter who will be performing at the event, her punk folk style incorporates a feminist element.

Nottingham based singer, Myles Knight creates soft indie tunes like Hey Ma and Black and Blue.

Matty Haynes is based in Lincolnshire and has been recognised by BBC Introducing for his chilled guitar songs.

Laura Dickinson delivers strong vocals alongside her spoken word performances.

The agency have planned shows in Manchester, Brighton and London this October.

They are eager to uncover rising independent artists and help build a platform for smaller names in the industry to get to Australia and bring Australian talent to the UK.
