Recap: Eurovision 2022 Grand Final as UK finish second to Ukraine

Eurovision 2022 saw the return of full crowds for the first time since 2019 and was a real success from its base in Turin, Italy.

The contest was of course brought to the PalaOlimpico by Maneskin’s storming victory in 2021’s edition, with the worldwide hit ‘ZITTI E BUONI’.

After two hugely entertaining Semi-Finals, the Eurovision 2022 Grand Final proved to be an unforgettable one for British crowds.

Ukraine’s Kalush Orchestra lived up to their tag as bookies favourites to win, while the United Kingdom’s Sam Ryder won the jury vote and finished second, ahead of Spain, Sweden and Serbia.
