Covid testing now available at NTU – and here’s how to get one

NTU students can officially book their Covid-19 tests so that they can travel home for the winter break.

The Lateral Flow Tests are free and available on all three NTU campuses starting from today, November 24.

Each test is self-administered and should take less than 10 minutes to complete, with results expected within two hours via the NHS Test and Trace service.

Students will need to book two tests, three days apart.

If both of your test results are negative, students should travel home as soon as possible to minimise the risk of getting the virus after your tests.

A positive result on either test will mean you need to isolate for 10 days at your term time address before travelling home.

The City, Clifton and Brackenhurst campus testing facilities are open for students from November 30 until December 9.

Students on Mansfield campus can book tests between December 3 and 7.

Each testing centre will be open from 9.30am till 4pm every weekday.

Students are urged to ensure they do not travel home until after the national lockdown ends on December 2.

All teaching will be moved online between December 4 and 9 to allow students to travel within the window advised by the Government.
