Nottingham Varsity 2023 got fully underway in a huge week of action as the American Football took place at David Ross Sports Village on Sunday.
With the University of Nottingham mixing their BUCS National Championship finalist first-team players with their second team to create a more balanced playing field, a hugely entertaining contest saw the hosts come out on top 26-12 against the NTU Renegades.
Trent had plenty to be proud of as they even had sight of a touchdown to tie the game in the final quarter, and it was only the star quality of UoN’s big names that made the difference in the end.
